Our program encompasses the whole child in the music making process. By teaching to the senses of sight, hearing and touch, while allowing your child to explore music further through movement and singing. Our program aids children in the learning process on a higher level.
We believe that the music making process should begin in the early years of a child's development with the finest music available. Our classically based program opens the child's joyful experience to music as it was taught to Bach, Mozart and Hadyn but in a contemporary setting. Through the use of our award winning program we incorporate the best of teaching aids to ensure your child is developing into a well-rounded musician.
Through the skills that they obtain in creating and playing music, children are able to utilize these abilities in their social and academic lives. Young children are drawn to and love music. This love of music helps to channel their focus and attention on experiencing new concepts. School age children develop the ability to set goals and to be proud of their accomplishments. As children enter their pre-teen years they will have already mastered the self-confidence and maturity needed to help them make positive choices throughout their teen years.
Academically many prestigious colleges look closer at applications that show a consistant study of a musical instrument. Musical study shows the admissions officers that the student already has the discipline, determination, commitment and goal-setting skills needed for success in higher education.
